Maria Ressa - a journalist who lied.
On “multiple publication rule,”.
This is the lie.
Ressa on ANC: What was corrected was a capital letter that shouldn't have been there--I think there was a letter A in the word "tax" that was wrongly capitalized. (Feb 15, 2019)
This is the truth.
Rappler: The story was modified to correct a typographical error, as can be seen in Rappler’s internal content management system. (Feb 5, 2019)
(Look at the dates, Rappler already published the story. Ressa made up a story. Ressa's lawyer also lied (see below) with a completely different story. Why?)
Disini added that the charges "seem to be politically motivated" and denied any updates were made to the offending article in 2014.
"What happened in 2014 was merely a punctuation change, so there was nothing. If the libel had been committed way back in 2012, a change in punctuation couldn't have republished that libel." (Feb 13, 2019)
Evidence to prove Rappler is right.
Difference between 2012 and 2014 versions:
Maria Ressa is a liar masquerading as an advocate of press freedom.
